The BCC has named the perpetual trophy for most wickets in a season across all grades after Bill Gainsford. Bill is part of Berowra’s best ever XII and has an astonishing 7x10 wicket matches next to his name. He claimed 50 wickets or more in four different seasons.
Also winning the Davenport Shield as Player of the Season, Will Urasaki was the runaway wickets winner taking a ridiculous 48 @ 9.88 in C4. The skipper had the best bowling figures of 5/11 as he led his side with both ball and bat all the way to the Grand Final.
